Effective 22 February 2012, we include troops NOT only assigned to war zones.
ALL else remains the same on this web site. Troops assigned to locations within the United State will not be accepted however (at least at this time).
So, for example, if a Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine wishes to be a contact and is stationed in Germany, Korea, Greenland, etc., they may do so as long as they agree to the terms and conditions of being a 'contact'.
We discontinued annotating what areas are declared as war zones because it has become impossible to keep up with the changes. We strongly suggest you use our search tool to find the troops you wish to support. Of course, with any change there may be problems, so if you discover any, please email me and let me know. Thanks!! -marty Folks who have been with us awhile know who Major Pain is (AKA Major Gary Bourland)  who was the FIRST Marine to join AnySoldier.com (but was very clear that I was not to put 'Any Soldier' under his name in his address, which is absolutely understandable and the genesis of my going after the domain of AnyMarine.com).
