DOD Identifies Marine Casualty

                   The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
                Sgt. Marlon E. Myrie, 25, of Oakland Park, Fla., died June 25 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

as of july 1. 2007 no more packages can be sent. so this will be my last update and i want to say thankyou from the bottom of my heart, you guys me through a lot of hard times. so long until i deploy again.

HI, its now Cpl Myrie i just got promoted. we are now at an ECP and will not be moving again. im doing fine, all my boys doing fine just sticking it out for the last month and a half. nothing new to update on. im sorry but access to the internet is not a luxury we half here so beleive me i try to get to a computer. my own personal computer just crash, so im relying on loan from friends. thats it for now and thank you and everyone involve for your support.

we are ok just been busy , we are finally taking a pause which means we gonna be in one place for a month. but we all have our health and we are good to go. thank for everything. we dont need anything special just whatever they can afford to send us. dvds is probably what we need to take our minds off work for a little. thanks for everything and goodbye for now.

me and the rest of the guys are ok. we havent been in place for too long so its hard to find time and write back. i havent even got a chance to talk to my family for more than 5 minutes. we will be going somewhere near the jordan, syria and iraq border soon. dont know how long we will be there. thanks for everything and let everyone out there thats supporting us thanks a million, we really appreciate it. i will write again when i get the chance.

I am representing my fire team. It is pretty cold this time a year, so a few gloves, hand warmers, can soup, beanies, ski mask etc. The living conditions is somewhat sketchy. one day we have power another we dont. so snack would most prefered. to whom ever is reading this i give my deepest gratitude and my team thanks you for support.
